Although the Town of Hume is not zoned at this time, there are building permit and flood plain permits required.Please contact code enforment for all applications.
All Building Applications and questions are handled through the Code Enforcement Office.
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2007
The first three Renewal Permits for Building Permits shall be at the cost of one-half of the amount of the original permit fee. After three renewal permits have been issued, the fourth and consecutive renewal permits shall be issued at the original cost (based on the current fee schedule.) This change also effects and shall retrofit all current Building Permit holders, no matter what year the original permit was issued. Anyone found building without a required Building Permit shall be charged three (3) times the cost of the original fee for the Building Permit, fee to be determined by the current fee schedule.
